Odia film "Thukul" to be released on 12TH January

Odia film "Thukul" (Frozen in Love), an Indo-Oman Production project is scheduled to be released on 12TH January, 2012  in  37  hall  all over Odisha. The film is a musical love story directed by Prasant Nanda and produced by Akshay Kumar Parija. Twenty five per cent of the film has been shot in Oman. Thukul is Indo-Oman Productions second film but the first one to be shot in the sultanate. 

The film was shot at various landscapes in Muscat, Sur, Barka and other locations in the country. The two hour forty-five minute feature film is a showcase of natural beauty. This Movie Babushan and Archita  wear in rajasthani pagdi and dress.

STORY

Sai (Anubhav Mohanty) is born as an orphan and brought up with no one of his own. His only aim in life is to marry a girl from joint family and enjoy the emotional relations of being a member in big family. Sai soon finds his girl in the form Post Graduate Orthopedic Doctor Sampurna (Barsha Priyadarshini), daughter of businessman (Bijay Mohanty) who has a big family.

Sai along with his friends get on to the duty of wooing the girl. Though initially reluctant, Sampurna falls in love for sincerity and simplicity in Sai. Thus comes hurdle in form of Bijay Mohanty who doesn’t want to get his daughter married to an orphan because of painful experiences seen in the life of his sister (Namrata Das).

Now, Sai too refuses to marry Sampurna without her family approval because what he wants is bonding of a joint family. Around the same time, Bijay Mohanty fixes her daughter’s wedding with London based Doctor (Kuna Tripathy) family, who keeps a condition on physical presence of Sai during the entire marriage event. Love Master Story:-

STORY
Anubhav (Prince) is a playboy. He has affairs with many girls. He has a caring grandfather (Pradyumna Lenka), grandmother (Namrata), loving big brother (Sukanta) and strict father (Kuna Tripathy) at his home. Salil (Bhagia) is always with him, to take care.

Barsha (Pihu) is a odissi dance teacher in Ooty. Prince returns from London and his father tells him to go Ooty for company business. He goes there with Bhagia. There he meets Pihu.

Prince accepts challenge of his friends to make Pihu fall in love with him in 10 days. And he succeeds in doing that. After finishing his love mission, Prince returns to his home at Cuttack. "Something Something 2" is a 2014 Oriya  romantic comedy film starring Anubhav Mohanty and Barsha Priyadarshini in the lead roles. 
It was directed by Sudhakar Vasanth and produced under the banner of Vishnupriya Art and Graphics by Anuprash Mohanty and released on 14 June 2014. 
The film is sequel to 2011's Something Something and the first sequel to be produced by the Ollywood film industry. This movie is a remake of Tamil movie Raja Rani (2013). This Film Barsha Priyadarshini wear in traditional saree and fashion dress.

It will be the second film of Amlan. His father, Mihir Das is also part of it, like Target. Riya Dey and her younger sister Silpa Dey will act opposite Amlan.

“Every role comes with hope and surprise. This movie has everything – love, emotion and family drama. It is based on father-son relationship. Playing this role will be a challenge for me”, Amlan said.

This film also includes Sidhanta Mohapatra, Mihir Das, Samaresh, Priyanka, Minaketan, Runu Parija, Saroj Das, Salil Mitra and Jeevan Panda. Music of the film is being composed by Prem Anand. For the first time eminent odissi guru, Ramahari Das has lent his voice for a classical song penned by Bijya Malla.
